There are moments in your life that make you and set the course of who you're going to be. Sometimes they are little, subtle moments. Sometimes they're big moments you never saw coming. No one asks for their life to change, but it does. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you are.
From time to time, of course, the fabric of hope is torn and we see the blackness beyond. But in time we return, however shaken and changed, to a life of purpose and meaning in which the future retains its eternal promise.
As this year is ending and a new one beginning, we are thinking of you and your family, hold you close in our hearts and prayers.
Our hope for this New Year is that it may bring more light, hope, the uplift of remembrance, and maybe even new miracles to your doorstep.
It is 2009 and I have spent the better part of 2008 asking why? I still don't think I have an answer. I see my little angel everyday. If it is in the laughter of Sean or the smile in Marissa's face but I do see Daniel every day. I heard something today that is so true. "You seem to be looking for reasons instead of peace. There will never be enough reasons to except the loss of Daniel but God will always give me enough peace to leave with it.
